Sauvage, Brooklyn

Born from the James Beard Award-winning team behind Maison Premiere, Sauvage is a vibrant expression of a neo-bistro. Flanked by McCarren Park, the East River, and the bustling streets of Greenpoint, Sauvage offers a new kind of transportive experience, far from the skyline of New York City and the dimly cocktail bars of past centuries.

Sauvage looks like it tastes: precision, curvature, and whimsy can be seen in the food and drink, as well as the space. Though Art Nouveau might have inspired the blueprints, we have filled it with things we want to share, and so the restaurant softly changes day to night, and with the company of our guests. From lunch and dinner service, to our elegant brunch fare on the weekends, there are scores of ways to enjoy Sauvage.

Launching shortly after Maison Premiere’s JBFA win, Sauvage opened to many exuberant reviews and critic mentions. The Wall Street Journal, Eater NY, Zagat, Grubstreet, and The NY Times have all favorably written about the excellence in food, beverage, and hospitality at Sauvage. The bar program has already received critical accolades for innovation, as well as its well-manicured take on classic restaurant cocktails. The design of the restaurant has also been a frequent source of attention, landing it in many national and international style and design publications.
